Five years after an atmospheric river devastated sections of British Columbia, communities along the Kettle Valley Trail are still waiting to learn if the route will be rebuilt.

In a post on social media, West Coast Helicopters stated that a member of their work family died in the crash. Two other people, one who also died in the crash, were on board.
