A toxic illicit drug supply is prompting an urgent response from the New Brunswick government, as EMO activates a Level 1 response to Moncton's spike in overdose cases.
Firefighters called for backup during a two-hour fight against a house fire on a residential street in Orléans late Wednesday afternoon. Two people were treated for smoke inhalation and dehydration.
