Details emerge connecting double murder, explosion and suicide in eastern Ontario

New details are beginning to emerge connecting the double murder of two brothers in south Ottawa, an explosion and fire at their father's dental practice in a village an hour's drive away, and the father's suicide in his vehicle at a carpool lot almost halfway between the two scenes.
A group of merchants in the ByWard Market have banded together, calling on the City of Ottawa to backtrack its redevelopment plans for 55 ByWard Market Square. Nearly every single business inside Ottawa’s historic Downtown building has signed a petition, fearing that this blueprint could lead to the eventual evictions of all 17 food and craft businesses – some of which have been operating in that sector for decades.
