U.S ambassador to Canada defends U.S. tariffs, CUSMA negotiation strategy

On the eve of his country's 250th birthday, U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra discussed tariffs, CUSMA negotiations and those 51st state jabs with Rebecca Zandbergen, host of CBC's Ottawa Morning.
The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) has passed an emergency resolution that calls on Canada to criminalize residential school denialism. The advocacy organization, which represents chiefs countrywide, is holding its annual general assembly in Ottawa this week.
