Ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, the Ontario government is more than doubling the maximum fine that can be handed out for selling tickets above their original value. In a news release issued this morning, the province said that businesses and individuals who violate this legislation could face fines of $25,000 – up from $10,000 previously. The question, of course, is will they listen? Kristy Cameron goes 1-on-1 with Stephen Crawford, Ontario’s Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement.
