A Pennsylvania man who allegedly travelled to Ottawa to meet an 11-year-old he's said to have sexually exploited online and abused has been charged following an investigation by Canadian and U.S. authorities.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said Carney is treating the tariff threat with the urgency it deserves, noting the countdown to Aug. 19 when the duties are set to take effect.
