Out-of-control wildfire prompts evacuation order for area south of Pemberton, B.C.

The evacuation order applies to One Mile Lake Park, "to provide safe working space to crews supporting fire operations."

Police are ramping up efforts to find a missing 11-year-old Calgary boy. Parker, who is neurodivergent and non-verbal, was reported missing last Thursday. Police are urging residents to check their yards and sheds and for real estate agents and landlords to check empty homes.
