After weeks of waiting and hoping, Ottawa residents finally heard from the Ford government today as to which areas were eligible for provincial relief from the Canada Day floods. WestJet has reached an agreement with the union representing more than 4,000 flight attendants and cabin crew to end a strike that disrupted flights over the long weekend. The deal ends a work stoppage that had threatened to derail summer travel for thousands of travellers.
