Hundreds of Eabametoong First Nation members evacuated as northern Ontario wildfire tally grows to 192

As new wildfires are discovered in northwestern Ontario during a week of devastation, evacuations have begun for members of Eabametoong First Nation, a fly-in community over 300 kilometres north of Thunder Bay. Roughly 460 people on seven flights have been taken to Niagara Falls, with dozens more to follow.
Peel Regional Police have recovered nearly $800,000 worth of cargo and commercial vehicles following an investigation in Brampton.
