N.S. says Eastern Shore wildfire now being held, residents can return home

A wildfire on Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore is now listed as being held, but ground crews will continue the containment efforts throughout the day. Residents evacuated on Thursday are now allowed to return to their homes.
Ottawa police are investigating after shots were fired in Manotick on Monday morning following an apparent Facebook Marketplace deal gone wrong.
