Terror charge laid against man accused of advocating harm against Jewish community at Toronto demonstrations

A 33-year-old Toronto man is facing a terrorism charge for "public statements that advocated for the detestation and harm against members of the Israeli and Jewish communities," police say.

RCMP say they are investigating the homicide of a 12-year-old Edmonton boy after remains were found in a rural area of northern Alberta. In a news release on Sunday, police said Athabasca RCMP officers responded to a report of human remains found on Thursday, Aug. 6, just before 3:30 a.m.
