Crews complete launch shaft for planned Toronto subway extension

The Ontario government announced Thursday that work on the launch shaft for the Yonge North Subway Extension was complete, calling it a 'major milestone' for the project.

A public hearing was held Monday on a rezoning application for the site near Argyll Road and 75th Street. Currently, the building is used as a thrift store and a warehouse.
