Police are investigating an early-morning fire at Hamilton's Christie Lake Conservation Area that forced the YMCA to close its Camp Chippewa program for the week and remove children from the property by bus on Wednesday after the fire damaged facilities in the area.

Funerals for the two correctional officers who died in a crash at the start of August are being held this weekend. The service for Nicolae Serban was on Saturday.
