Service clubs used to be the pillar of communities. Now, members are aging out

Several service clubs in Ontario say they are struggling to keep up membership, as longtime members age out of volunteering and prospective new members are scarce. It leaves the future of Optimist, Rotary and Lions clubs, and the many community initiatives that they offer, at risk.
Seven more whales are on the move from Marineland, headed to a new home at an aquarium in the United States.
