A growing number of Ontario MPP’s have been vocalizing their disapproval of Canada’s high-speed rail project. And now, after Queen’s Park originally gave a thumbs-up for Alto to go ahead, it might be taking it back. Kristy Cameron chats with David Bellerive, the founder of Go Alto, in Hour 1. It’s an independent public advocacy campaign that was launched in May of this year to organize grassroots support for the project. Meantime, Ontario has also seen a wave of policy changes, with an expansion of privatized healthcare being one of those items on the agenda.
