Once one of the world's largest coal plants, Nanticoke in Ontario could generate power again

Haldimand County is receiving $500,000 from Ontario Power Generation to help it "explore opportunities" for new energy production at the former Nanticoke coal-fired plant, as the province considers bringing electricity generation back to the site 13 years after it was shut down.
