Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe to remain temporarily closed following Canada Day flooding damage, city says

All shows and events at Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe will be cancelled for the rest of the year and ticket holders are being offered refunds, according to the City of Ottawa, due to damage caused by the July 1st flooding.

A flight from Victoria, B.C. to Toronto was cancelled on Thursday when a parent and the cabin crew were unable to buckle in a child who refused to sit down.
