Ontario father pushes daughter's wheelchair 200 km to Toronto to advocate for access to health care

A London, Ont., father has begun a six-week walk to Queen's Park in Toronto to advocate for easier access to out-of-country health care after his daughter says she was left severely disabled following a 2023 car crash. Sydney Gesualdi is seeking surgery in New York after Ontario denied funding for the procedure.
