Ottawa Now - LRT West Extension gets dealt another curveball
August 5, 2026
We are starting to gather a bigger picture of the LRT West Extension, and the damage that was done during the Canada Day downpour. OC Transpo says it could delay a full opening until 2027. Holder said the assessment period is underway, and it’s still early in the process, but it’s looking like not much can be salvaged.
