Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Thurs. July 9th, 2026

July 9, 2026

It’s been 8 days since the Canada Day floods ravaged through Canada’s Capital. A whopping 118 millimetres of rain fell from the sky that day, leading to sewer surcharging and an onslaught of flooded basements. Despite all the doom and gloom, it’s a Thursday afternoon, and the sun is starting to peak out a little bit. So we try to lighten things up in Hour 3 with Carson Arthur – also known as Kristy’s favourite gardening expert!
