The iconic Carp Road Flea Market – based in Stittsville – is a something of an institution in Canada’s Capital. You can find an assortment of treasures there. However, the good times won’t be rolling once the Fall season wraps up, as it is set for a permanent closure after 50 years in service. We check in with Dave Cesario in Hour 1. OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Thursday that one of his MPs was the victim of a suspected arson, which he called a “cowardly act of violence and intimidation,” in a social media post . Liberal MP Salma Zahid, the MP for Scarborough Centre-Don Valley East, said in a statement that an unidentified individual set fire to her car and another vehicle overnight. “It is unacceptable.
