Ottawa announces $34M for climate resilience projects across Canada

In all, 128 communities across Canada will receive funding for various projects. A Quebec community will also get $1 million for flood-reduction measures.

The meeting comes as Canada prepares to impose retaliatory tariffs on a wide range of U.S. goods on Sept. 8 in response to President Donald Trump's own 50 per cent tariffs.
