Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning east of Gananoque, saying a line of storms with wind and hail is moving southeast.

Highway 401 was closed in both directions Wednesday night near Gananoque, Ont., following a collision involving several vehicles, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
