The City of Ottawa has approved a number of flood relief measures, while the Ford government still hasn’t released details on DRAO coverage. We are officially 2 weeks into the flood recovery efforts. How has our local government reacted to this weather event? What changes need to happen so we are better prepared to handle the next one? The Trump administration is threatening to ban several Canadian imports – from a bulk of alcohol products, to some dairy goods, and even motorcycles. He signed the new proclamations late-Tuesday night, and they are set to kick off on September 29th. Canadian counter-tariffs on American goods went into effect yesterday, a move that impacts roughly 700 products.
