The City of Ottawa has approved a number of flood relief measures, while the Ford government still hasn’t released details on DRAO coverage. We are officially 2 weeks into the flood recovery efforts. How has our local government reacted to this weather event? What changes need to happen so we are better prepared to handle the next one? The extension means decisions on immigration and visa applications from residents of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and South Sudan will remain on hold until Sept. 28.
