New phone, same old cell service: Riverside South and Findlay Creek residents frustrated

All shows and events at Meridian Theatres have been cancelled for the rest of 2026 due to the Canada Day flooding. According to City Staff, floodwater caused ‘considerable damage’ to the Centrepointe theatre – from the main theatre stage, to the orchestra pit, to front rows of seating, and the studio theatre.
