Hour 3 of Ottawa Now for Mon. August 24th, 2026

August 24, 2026

Last week, U.S. President Trump was ready to pull the trigger on a series of 50% tariffs against Canada. Fast-forward to Wednesday, and it appeared that a deal to avoid said tariffs was in the works. Guest host Chris Holski sifts through the CFRA textboard and tackles today’s Question of the Day. Then, we turn things over to our Political Heat Panel, who have plenty of things to say about the past 72 hours.
