Ottawa Now - First-term Ottawa city councillor David Brown acclaimed after no opponents step forward

Friday afternoon's application deadline came and went, and a pair of Ottawa city councillors didn't have a single opponent to go up against for October's municipal election. Over the weekend, both were officially acclaimed, and will have a free pass to City Hall for the next 4 years. One of them is Rideau-Jock councillor David Brown, who just completed his first term at Laurier Avenue West.
