Air force major who pleaded guilty to illegally importing firearms sentenced to house arrest

A sharpshooting air force officer and avid gun collector who was repeatedly decorated for his marksmanship, has been sentenced to two years less a day of house arrest after illegally importing eight firearms.

Thousands of Inuit women in Greenland are now eligible for monetary compensation over a decades-long Danish birth-control program that forcibly implanted intrauterine devices (IUDs).
