With Thunder Bay leading Ontario in opioid-related deaths, Nishnawbe Aski Nation led a walk on Wednesday to demand the city address the drug crisis.
In August 2024, a Welland, Ont., man called 911 as he was having a heart attack. He couldn't speak and Niagara Regional Police failed to dispatch officers to check on him.
