Should Canadian politicians be forced to disclose when they use Artificial Intelligence? Earlier in the program, we spoke to Nathalie A. Smuha, a Law Professor at the University of Toronto. She firmly believes that we need greater transparency when it comes to A.I. usage in the political arena. In fact, she argues that this slippery slope should be legislated, and that politicians should be required by law to watermark posts and disclose any form of Artificial Intelligence usage. We have seen this policy installed in European nations. Should Canada follow suit? Guest host Chris Holski sifts through the CFRA textboard and tackles today’s Question of the Day. Meantime, Hollywood has been hit hard yet again. Less than 24 hours after music icon Dolly Parton left this world, so did iconic actor Jim Curry. Like Dolly, he died at the age of 80. Like Dolly, he was liked by just about everyone. And his run with a certain movie franchise is still going strong, even though he is no longer with us. Joining us in Hour 3 is Sam Kellerman – the founder, director, and lead actor in Absent Friends Shadow Cast Production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Absent Friends Shadow Cast has been performing this iconic staple at Ottawa’s Mayfair Theatre for the past 16 years.

It’s not the first time Trump has sought to rename a major body of water. In January 2025, he signed an executive order changing the name...

OTTAWA — Canada says it intends to ban all trade with goods tied to Israeli settlements in the West Bank, joining several European countries in a joint statement promising harsher measures against Israelis the governments say are undermining a two-state solution. In the statement, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and her counterparts in the U.K., France, and nine other countries called on Israel’s government to crack down on settler violence in the West Bank. The 12 foreign ministers also specifically criticized an apartment development, called E1, they said would essentially cut...
