The true cost of a Toronto to Quebec high-speed train

An internal document obtained by The Globe and Mail shows that the full cost of a high-speed rail line from Toronto to Quebec City is estimated to be about $150-billion once four decades of operating and maintenance expenses are included – a figure that is well above the range regularly cited by federal officials. The Globe's deputy Ottawa bureau chief Bill Curry explains why the figure is much higher than federal officials say.
More than three million adults in Canada self-report they have a food allergy and among children under 18, there's more than 600,000 with food allergies.
