The latest unemployment numbers from Statistics Canada are in, and here is what they are telling us. The previously red-hot labour market is no longer hot, as it stalled out to end the Summer with a loss of 42,000 jobs in August. As a whole, the unemployment rate held steady at 6.4 percent last month. Prior to this rough patch, the labour market saw 181,000 jobs added from April through July. Canadian economist and Concordia University lecturer Moshe Lander joins guest host Austin Lee in Hour 2.
