Grand Erie Public Health is reminding former patients of Dr. George Chan Dentistry in Brantford, Ont., to get tested for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV. According to files from GEPH obtained by CBC News through a freedom-of-information request, 884 patients were sent letters advising them to get screening. Chan resigned in July, the dental college says.

Multiple train cars were plunged into a body of water after a train derailed in southwest Calgary on Monday morning.
Emergency crews said the train was travelling along the Canadian Pacific Kansas Line when it derailed near Sheriff King Street S.W. at 7:45 a.m.
