For the next 11 days, Ottawa’s 60 photo radar cameras will continue to keep a watchful eye for speeding motorists. After that, their time is up. The province has told the City of Ottawa to shut down every single speed camera on their active roster, a request that will be granted on November 14th. They will soon be replaced by large signs with flashing lights, designed to slow down drivers in areas where those cameras are normally located.
