Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, fresh off a challenging election campaign, announced his new cabinet Thursday, with some new faces around the table and many veterans in different portfolios.“This day marks a new beginning,” Moe said as the new cabinet was sworn in.
Hundreds of Barrhaven residents gathered on Tuesday night to protest a City of Ottawa proposal, which would install tent-like structures to shelter as much as 300 asylum seekers. Each tent would have a capacity of 150, filled with people who are either fleeing war or persecution.
