Trades are always welcome if they improve the team, but the problem isn’t the players, the problem is the coaching style and strategy. I proposed a few weeks ago that they attempt to play a more two way offensive style of hockey than what they’re playing now. My recommendation is to play the way the Stanley Cup champion Montréal Canadiens used to play in the 1970s. It requires back checking, but if you can do it, it’s a much more fluent style of hockey than the one the Senators are playing now.
