Calgary restaurant owners jailed for financial abuse of temporary foreign workers

Manikandan Kasinathan, Chandramohan Marjak and Mary Roche, who co-owned Marina Dosa and Tandoori Grill, were each sentenced to 90-day jail terms after they were convicted of fraud over $5,000. They must also pay back the $44,000 they stole from three employees.

U.S. authorities alerted the RCMP about Ryan Wedding's imminent arrest days before he was taken into U.S. custody in Mexico last week, Commissioner Mike Duheme has told CBC News.
