London Drugs in heart of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside to close on Feb. 1

The decision to close the location in the Woodwards Building, which has been open since 2009 and in the neighbourhood since 1945, was not taken lightly, according to London Drugs President and COO Clint Mahlman.
Environment Canada is warning capital area residents that heavy snowfall is in the forecast. Premier David Eby boarded a flight for India on Friday, embarking on a trade mission to a country that only recently was in a serious diplomatic dispute with Canada.As far as trade missions go, this trip is a no-frills excursion. There are no industry delegates tagging along, and no ribbon-cutting photo ops planned.
