Ottawa Now - Statistics Canada plans to cut hundreds of positions over the next 2 years

Statistics Canada says it plans to cut hundreds of positions over the next two years, including 100 immediate cuts this week. When it’s all said and done, these cuts will affect approximately 850 positions and 12 percent of its executive team. Sean O'Reilly is the President of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada, known as PIPSC for short. He joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
