Canada’s biggest grocery giants — including Loblaws, Sobeys and Metro — are using property law to control how other grocery stores, dollar stores, pharmacies and gas stations can compete with them, an investigation by CBC’s Marketplace has found.
FBI Director Kash Patel and RCMP Commissioner Michael Duheme are set to speak after U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a social media post that Ryan Wedding, a Canadian ex-Olympian accused by U.S. law enforcement of playing a key role in a transnational drug trafficking operation, had been 'apprehended' and flown to the U.S.

A New Brunswick investigation found no environmental link to neurological symptoms reported by hundreds of patients of a single neurologist in the province, says a report released Friday by the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Yves Léger.Dr. Yves Léger said the findings do not suggest that either herbicides or metals were present at levels that could have contributed to illness experienced by most patients. Earlier investigations found no evidence of a shared common illness.

Ryan Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder who was among the FBI’s most-wanted fugitives and faces charges related to drug trafficking and the killing of a federal witnesses, has been arrested, according to authorities.Mr. Wedding was arrested Friday, according to two people familiar with the matter who were not authorized to discuss details of the investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
