Calgary doctor denied bail by judge for alleged child abduction for two years

A Calgary man accused of abducting his son and leading police on a global chase from Asia to the South Pacific over two years has been denied bail.

Ontario Provincial Police say they put out a shelter-in-place alert for part of the Central Frontenac community early Tuesday morning. The suspect was later arrested and the alert lifted.
