‘The north is always neglected’: Manitobans frustrated by yearly road washouts

Water pouring onto roadways and blocking traffic is not an uncommon occurrence in northern Manitoba throughout spring and impacted communities are calling for change.
The MRC des Collines de l'Outaouais police service is asking some residents to remain home on Sunday after several roads were closed due to flooding in the Saint-Pierre-de Wakefield area of Val-des-Monts, Que., including a section of Route 307.
