Quebec says runaway kangaroo 'Joey' poses no threat but advocate warns of risks to its safety

The kangaroo that has been on the loose on Montreal's South Shore presently doesn't pose a "significant danger to the public," confirmed Quebec's Environment Ministry on Tuesday morning. The ministry added the animal is safe for the summer months but an animal welfare advocate says it may not necessarily be the case.
The group that hosts Salsa on St. Clair is threatening to pull the plug on the festival unless it sees accountability from the City of Toronto and its police force in relation to a shooting that took place Saturday.

Officials with the Norfolk County Fire Department said three stations responded to the fire at an address on Highway 3 in Simcoe County where an entire barn was engulfed in flames.
