A Canadian-American artist from Ottawa has made a 4-foot-tall beaver statue for the United States. It’s part of the Great Beaver Quest – an art installation initiative that honours the countries participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That statue, however, has been vandalized. A new survey shows that 8-in-10 Canadians feel their vehicles are vulnerable to theft, despite a recent drop in car thefts nationwide.
