A growing number of Ontario MPP’s have been vocalizing their disapproval of Canada’s high-speed rail project. And now, after Queen’s Park originally gave a thumbs-up for Alto to go ahead, it might be taking it back. Kristy Cameron chats with David Bellerive, the founder of Go Alto, in Hour 1. It’s an independent public advocacy campaign that was launched in May of this year to organize grassroots support for the project. Major League Soccer has launched an investigation into antisemitism and discrimination during a match in Montreal on Saturday night. The New England Revolution said its forward, Dor Turgeman, was subject to “antisemitic and discriminatory abuse” from CF Montréal fans during the teams’ game at Stade Saputo.
