While appearing on U.S. network television, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said Canadians are confused and disappointed by Trump's move to rebrand Lake Ontario as 'Lake America.'

The meeting being arranged by the Quebec premier and CAQ leader for Monday night comes as Canada prepares to impose retaliatory tariffs on a wide range of U.S. goods the following day. The tariffs will range from 15 to 50 per cent and apply to products including dairy, steel, copper and some beauty products.
