Canada at the Crossroads: A Pincer Moment

March 1, 2025

The United States, once a trusted ally, is now acting against our interests. Their President has threatened to annex us using "economic force". It’s not just the actions of a single leader like Trump, but the complicity of others, the silent acquiescence of figures like Marco Rubio, and the disturbing rise of people like JD Vance, who embraces his inner psychopath to the kill the humanity in all of us

A chill has settled over Canada and indeed all over the world, a stark realization hanging heavy in the air. I don’t say this lightly, America is now a strategic adversary, a partner of the Kremlin. This statement, once unthinkable, now echoes with terrifying clarity across Canada and indeed the world.

Supporting Ukraine and Taiwan is not merely a matter of political disagreement; it signifies a fundamental shift in the global landscape, a new and perilous reality. The Kremlin, the White House, and Zhongnanhai are now positioned against the rest of the world, and, more importantly, for us Canadians, we are the main course. We possess critical minerals, water, and energy, and the Canadian Arctic provides rapid access to transport our resources globally.

Canadians must prepare to deepen our military, economic, and cultural relations with Europe, CANZUK nations, and Japan-South Korea-Taiwan. We need to accept this new reality as soon as possible. The urgency is paramount; this is a desperate plea for immediate action. The world has fractured, and Canada stands at a precarious crossroads.

The single most important priority must be the immediate ejection of the USA from NATO. Nothing else matters until that happens. This is the crux of the matter, a radical but necessary step to salvage the alliance. With the U.S. removed, a revitalized NATO can begin to station nuclear weapons in Canada to prevent the Russian vassal from pushing north and to deter the Kremlin from pushing south.

The image is stark but true: expansionist Russia to the north and the unpredictable United States to the south, a pincer movement threatening Canada's very existence. Putin on one side, and Trump & Vance on the other, a chilling encapsulation of Canada’s predicament.

We need to emulate Scandinavia in many ways, primarily by developing a domestic military-industrial capability for both defense and potential power projection. The path to survival lies in self-reliance, forging a robust defense industry. A practical approach is to partner with firms willing to establish factories in Canada.

The United States, once a trusted ally, is now acting against our interests. The US President has threatened to annex Canada using "economic force:" It’s not just the actions of a single leader like Trump, but the complicity of others, the silent acquiescence of figures like Marco Rubio, and the disturbing rise of people like JD Vance, who embraces his inner psychopath to the kill the humanity in all of us. I think Vance is a Russian asset, as witnessed by his savage attack against Ukraine this week.

After the events of this past week, I am more convinced than ever that Canada needs to re-arm, recruit, and sign strategic security deals worldwide while pursuing nuclear capabilities. The goal is clear: to become a formidable force, a nation capable of defending itself. The U.S. is unrecognizable. We must deepen our ties with fellow like-minded democracies.

We need an airbase and a naval base in the Canadian North. We require three British or French-sized aircraft carriers, one for each of our Canadian coastlines. This necessitates a significant increase in troop numbers. The case for "Canadian-Made Weapons" is now; it’s time to build an independent arsenal, including drones.

Either we become a military superpower, or our independence cannot be guaranteed and will disappear. There is no other path, and this requires a significant psychological adjustment for all Canadians. Our nation is in grave danger. We must become a highly militarized country to defend our sovereignty. It’s time for a fundamental transformation of Canadian society.
