This letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper was writen by Mark Fedak, the president of the Conservative Party riding association for Oakville North-Burlington, about the behaviour of Conservative MP Eve Adams at a riding association meeting on March 19th. Adams currently represents the non-adjacent riding of Mississauga-Brampton South, but has declared her desire to seek the Conservative nomination in Fedak's newly established riding instead of seeking re-election in Mississauga-Brampton South.
In his letter, Fedak says Adams showed up at the March 19 board meeting and refused to leave, even though she was asked to leave nine times.
"Her continuous response", Fedak writes, "was to continue to filibuster the meeting, without ever being recognized with a right to speak, but rather she continued to hijack the meeting".
This letter is co-signed by 14 board members.
Conservative MP Eve Adams is the fiance of Dimitri Soudas, the former Executive Director of the Conservative Party of Canada. Mr. Soudas was forced to resign from his post earlier this week as a result of his direct interference in this nomination contest on behalf of his fiance.
