The NCC launched public consultations on the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats yesterday. Here is the press release along with links to the NCC's website to participate in the process.

Canada’s Capital Region—The National Capital Commission (NCC) is pleased to launch public consultations on the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats, one of the largest and most significant urban development sites in the core of Canada’s Capital.

“The two proponents vying for the opportunity to redevelop LeBreton Flats have proposed comprehensive visions for this unique urban site in our capital,” said Dr. Mark Kristmanson, Chief Executive Officer of theNCC. “Residents of the National Capital region and all Canadians are encouraged to respond to these proposals, so we can consider their input in the evaluation process.”

The public can attend events and an open house in person on January 26 and 27, during which the two proponents will present their proposals for the redevelopment of LeBreton Flats. Canadians can also watch the presentations via webcast and submit their comments online until February 8, 2016.
